Alcohol and Smoking

Alcohol consumption is accepted on a social basis and is served as an aperitif prior to, or with lunch (wine & sherry). Barty House residential nursing home has a No Smoking Policy and smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.

Fire Safety

The home is fitted with a fire alarm system, which is subject to weekly testing. The system is fitted with an automatic door closing system that will activate and close all doors in the event of a fire.
