I am really pleased with my new room.  Seeing the rabbits and pheasants reminds me of my farm.

Lounge and Dining Facilities

The  residential home accommodates 59 residents in single and companion rooms.  All rooms are individually and tastefully decorated to the highest standard and include a television point.  Each room has a modern nurse call system, which is there for the residents’ convenience.  The home has four lifts, allowing easy wheelchair access to all floors around the home.

The lounge and dining room overlook the beautiful gardens and grounds.  The home provides an extensive activities/social programme. This includes musical events, exercise classes, bingo and board games, amongst many other social events.  Our stunning gardens are extensive and residents enjoy spending time relaxing in them.

Barty House has a variety of communal rooms and outdoor space for the residents to enjoy. There are two dining rooms where the residents can share a relaxed dining experience with a friend or family, and enjoy a glass of wine if they wish. If preferred, residents can dine in the quieter surroundings of their own room, or in the gardens during summer months. The large comfortable lounge is ideal for relaxing and entertaining visitors.

The gardens at Barty House are private with wheelchair access and offers a stunning view of the surrounding countryside. Barty House Nursing Home is located in Bearstead, Maidstone, Kent, UK
